I'm an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Portland, Oregon's Catholic University. I teach courses in both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and conduct research into security for embedded systems.  Before University of Portland, I studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked for Wind River and Sharp Microelectronics; these two companies, as I worked for them, no longer exist in their original forms.
